Welcome to Kristina Maria Arts

Which products are vegan?

Our Organic cotton T-shirts are Vegan.

We use one of the best brands that use the finest GOTS Certified Organic Cotton. Stanley/Stella is one of the world's top five buyers of organic cotton grown from non-GMO seeds, cultivated without chemical pesticides or fertilisers. They also go beyond GOTS certification by Control Union CU 819434 to consistently deliver the finest organic cotton to their customers.

Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® is one of the world's best-known standards for assessing harmful substances in fabrics. Their certification confirms that Stanley/Stella products contain no chemical substances that are harmful to human health and the environment and guarantees that they comply with the EU REACH regulation.

Stanley/Stella is 'PETA-Approved', which means that they do not conduct or commission any animal tests on ingredients, formulations, or finished products and pledge never to do so. Their products are made from 100% vegan materials with no ingredients of animal origin, ensuring that no harm is caused to animals.

Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) is an independent organization that works with apparel brands, garment workers and textile industry influencers to improve labor conditions in garment factories. As Stanley/Stella is a FWF member,  they organize third-party audits to assess human rights risks and monitor HRDD progress in factories.

What about the ink used to print my art on these beautiful Vegan Organic Cotton T-shirts? We have that covered!

We use a printing company that use DTG printers, that use inks that are Vegan friendly and OEKO-TEX certified, which means they contain no chemicals which negatively impact or harm the environment. The inks are water-based and because they use DTG there is less waste than other garment printing methods. They also donate any garments that don’t pass quality control to charity, which as well as helping their local community, it reduces the amount of waste they dispose of.

Are your picture frames made from sustainably sourced wood?
Yes, they are! Our printing company use wood and pulp sourced from sustainably managed forests to make all of their picture frames.

Sustainably managed forests meet the needs of wildlife while supporting livelihoods and providing many other ecosystem services, such as carbon storage and flood risk mitigation.

Our Hahnemühle Photo Rag (308gsm) and Hahnemühle German Etching (310gsm) are both vegan certified.

The printers use Neo pigment, water-based inks that are 100% non-hazardous and toxin-free. They meet the strictest industry standards as defined by Oeko-Tex 100 safety applications for infant wear, Global Organic Textiles (GTOTS-3V), Residues Standard List (RSL) and the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists.
